A CASE
FOR KIDS
My Own, A Case for Kids is a community-driven volunteer organization that gives our most vulnerable population, foster children ages 3-18, the dignity and hope they need by providing something tangible to call their own.
Each of our donated suitcases is filled with basic hygiene essentials, clothing, school supplies, books/toys and a handwritten note of encouragement. We work closely with Orange County Social Services to ensure that we get these filled suitcases to the children in the OC foster care program quickly.
We accept monetary donations, as well as donations of items on our packing lists. We also work with service organizations who would like to provide filled suitcases for delivery to children in need.
Since it's founding in January 2023, My Own, A Case for Kids has provided over 700 suitcases to foster kids in OC.
